BIOGRAPHY
It all started long ago in a small North East mining village. My parents were music lovers and often had parties on a Weekend, my Mum would sing, my Dad would play the Harmonica, and eventually my two brothers, my Sister and I would all be giving a helping hand. My oldest Brother playing the drums, my other Brother playing the Piano, and my Sister belting out the vocals, with me on Guitar.
It was inevitable that I would choose a career in music and I teamed up with my brother David, playing Guitar in a beer keller in Newcastle. It was an experience I will never forget as it set me on the road to becoming an Entertainer, working the northern club scene.
After spells with various bands I decided to go solo and went on to try my hand at Comedy, a tough way to make a living, especially in the Northern clubland, but it was a great way to learn my trade.
I did my first Summer Season in 1994 on the Yorkshire Coast as a visiting cabaret for Haven Holidays. I was invited back for the following three seasons and it was then that I decided to take my act down to the South West. Well it was one of the best things I have ever done...... and by the way I'm still here!
I have hosted many corporate events and have also had the honour of helping switch on the Newcastle Christmas lights with Newcastle united players Steven Taylor, Lee Clarke, and Peter Beardlsley.
These days I am still working as a Comedy Vocalist and I am busy working the Holiday Parks, Hotels, Theatres and Social Clubs all over the UK. Also a favourite of mine are the visits to Cruise Ships and Fly-Backs to venues out in the Med and the Caribbean. 2009 saw me join the cast of the famous Babbacombe Theatre for their ' ALIVE WITH LAUGHTER ' Show and also their festive spectacular,
'A CHRISTMAS CRACKER'
